Career Support Services offers a variety of services, training and resources to King County employees in the areas of career development and job search. We support employees by providing guidance, tools, training, and resources to help manage careers, identify employment opportunities and enhance skills in their current position. We offer the following services and training:

King County Career Service and Civil Service Employees (Impacted by a Layoff Only)

Career Support Services provides additional services, training and resources to King County career service and civil service employees who have received a layoff notification. These additional services may be offered for up to two years from the date of the layoff. To learn more about these services and resources, please feel free to email us.

Resources for Employees Who Have Received a Layoff Notification

Career service/ and civil service employees who have received a layoff notice may be eligible to receive additional services and resources for a period of up to two years from the date of their layoff. Processes, services and resources are identified below:
