Employee Code of Ethics

County employees are required to comply with King County’s Employee Code of Ethics, King County Code Chapter 3.04. Although these discounts are available to all County employees, before accepting any discount it is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that they are not receiving a benefit that would create a conflict of interest under Ch. 3.04 KCC, which may occur when an employee, in his or her official capacity, does business with a business or organization offering an employee discount. For more information, visit www.kingcounty.gov/ethics, email Board.Ethics@kingcounty.gov or call 206-263-7821.

For Businesses and Organizations: Please refer to the Employee Discount Program Guidelines for guidance on participating in the program. Discount proposals must abide by the EDP Guidelines and be submitted by email to: EmployeeDiscounts@kingcounty.gov.

Questions: For questions about the program, please contact EmployeeDiscounts@kingcounty.gov.
