The Advisor's staff is familiar with state and county property tax laws, appraisal and assessment practices, tax calculation and billing procedures, and local and state appeal processes.

They can help you with questions about value notices, appeals, exemptions, taxes and levy rates. In addition, they can help you research property sales to evaluate your assessment and work with County and State property tax officials to resolve your concerns.

They cannot reduce your assessed value, lower your tax bill, or change your property characteristics. However, they can advise you on how to pursue a change, tell you what information is relevant and where to find it, identify whom you should talk to and how to most effectively present your case.
