This Division addresses policies related to managing a complex jail operation, partnering effectively with labor unions, working cooperatively with cities, and many other areas. It also supports the research and coordination behind the many system-wide efforts to maintain public safety and reduce costs. The purpose of this Division is to provide fiscal, human resource, record management, training, and technical support to the staff, divisions and other departments in order to maintain a smooth and efficient department operation.
