Generation Now creates a partnership between King County Elections and area college students. Students are encouraged to collaborate with their peers to staff portions of polling places on Election Day.
Participants will be compensated for their work and the money earned can be used as a fundraising effort, or hours can be used towards required community service hours. Shifts last the full day, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a one-hour lunch and two breaks.
