There are two primary methods for acquiring King County GIS Data:
Download data from the KCGIS Data Portal
Many King County GIS layers can be found in the KCGIS Data Portal. These layers are available for download at no cost. Available formats are ESRI file geodatabase, shapefile, and KML. (Most of the data layers that were formerly available on the KCGIS Standard Data discs, which ceased publication following the January 2011 edition, can now be downloaded.)
Order custom GIS data and imagery products
Custom data and imagery requests are fulfilled by KCGIS Center Client Services staff. Your data request will be reviewed carefully, and a custom data set will be defined to best meet your needs. Several delivery options are available. There is a minimum charge for this service—see the Client Services Prices page.
