Annual Reports

The Environmental Purchasing Program produces annual reports for the King County Council, documenting the progress of county agencies in the implementation of the environmental purchasing policy.

2008 Annual ReportThe 2008 King County Environmental Purchasing Annual Report (664KB PDF) details 54 million dollars worth of environmentally preferable products purchased by County agencies in the past year. These purchases include items such as recycled paper, toner cartridges, re-refined oil, biobased fluids and hybrid cars. In addition to increasing King County's level of support of markets for these materials, these purchases also brought $837,000 in savings to County agencies.
