King County's urban local parks need your help

King County wants to partner with cities, community groups, sports leagues, neighborhood associations, or other entities to ensure that King County's urban local parks remain open and available for public use. Thirty-nine parks have been proposed for mothballing, unless other entities are identified that will take responsibility for upkeep, scheduling, and even ownership, and maintain the space as public park land.

Interested parties should send proposals and contact information to parktransfers@kingcounty.gov.
