Description

King County has approximately 90 employees who currently serve in the National Guard or Reserve. This event is to recognize them for their service to our country and present them with a "challenge coin" in appreciation. The U.S. Department of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) will be there to present King County, Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (DAJD), and several supervisors with awards in recognition of their support of County employees who currently serve. DAJD’s Honor Guard will open and close the event. The event is open to all County employees who want to show their support of fellow County employees who currently serve or have served in the U.S. military. Refreshments will be provided.

Award Ceremony - Noon to 1pm

Refreshments/Network - 11:45 am - Noon and 1-1:30pm
