SUMMARY

The North Mercer-Enatai project is needed to replace original regional pipelines, upgrade the North Mercer Pump Station, and increase capacity to accommodate recent and projected growth in Mercer Island and Enatai. The project will also allow King County to continue to provide safe, reliable sewer service. The property interests to be obtained are necessary for construction of the conveyance facility. The North Mercer-Enatai project is necessary for a public purpose and is in the best interest of the residents and wastewater ratepayers of King County.
