Proposed Ordinance 2019-0139 would make changes to Metro transit routes in the north Eastside of King County, collectively called the North Eastside Mobility Project. The primary change would be to shorten Route 255, which is currently the main all-day route connecting Kirkland and downtown Seattle, to operate between the Totem Lake Transit Center and University of Washington. Other changes would make more direct connections between Kirkland and Bothell, Woodinville, and Redmond; expand evening and weekend service; and expand Community Ride options. Read more about the proposal here.
