The ECR Online application requires the setup of a declining balance account.  To create an ECR Online user account a funds deposit with a credit card is required.

The cost for accessing documents (viewing, printing and saving the file) is 25 cents per page.  This fee will be deducted from your account balance before providing access to the case document.  You are able to directly add more money into your account if necessary.
eFiling and ECR Online are two separate applications and do require the creation of separate user accounts. ECR Online requires funds to be deposited at the time you open the account. As little as 25 cents is required, which will allow access to a one page document (25 cents per page).
No. You must provide a King County Superior Court case number (example: 02-2-99999-9) to view documents through the ECR Online application. To search for a case number go to the Washington Court Search Index.
Only King County Superior Court case documents are available online through the ECR Online application.  King County Superior Court Local General Rule 31 directs which case documents are accessible via the internet.

Access King County District Court (DCoR) Online Records here.
Once you request a document it will stay in your ECR Online documents tab for seven (7) days.  We recommend that you save the document () onto your computer for future viewing.  If you do not save the document and seven days have lapsed, you must pay to view the document again.
Access to King County Superior Court case documents is governed by Local Court Rule 31.  Only certain case types are available.  To determine your case type, look at the third number in the nine digit case number.  For example: 01-2-34567-8, the third number is "2" indicates the case is a civil case.  An adult criminal case type number is "1" and a probate case type is "4". Final parenting plans, decrees and child support orders in case types "3" and "5" became available as of September 1, 2015.
Certified copies are not available through ECR Online at this time. To order and pay for a certified or exemplified copy of a case document online use our Electronic Records Request process, send a request by mail, or come to one of the three clerk's office locations during office hours.
The Clerk's eService help desk may be able to look up an old account ID by the full name of the payer.  However, they are not able to find password or secret question information.  Please note, your account will be locked if you attempt to access the account multiple times without success.
