Monthly Telephonic Oath of Attorney Ceremony

(If you are a new law school graduate, please attend the KCBA swearing-in ceremonies following the release of the Bar Exam results from WSBA.  The monthly ceremony is not designed to administer the oath to hundreds of admittees.)

As of January 18, 2022, Chief Civil Judge Tanya L. Thorp will hold the Oath of Attorney Ceremony telephonically on the 2nd Thursday of the month promptly at 3:30 p.m.  The court has temporarily suspended in person walk-in ceremonies.  The court will not be scheduling individual ceremonies until further notice.

Judge Thorp is also availing herself to administer the Limited Practice Officer (LPO) and Limited License Legal Technical (LLLT) oaths.  These oaths will be held immediately following the oath of attorney ceremony at 3:50 p.m.

You must register in advance. For exact dates of the oath ceremony and registration instructions, please visit:
