The Northbound I-405 exit to Northeast 8th Street in Bellevue will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Wednesday, Jan. 31 to Thursday, Feb. 1 to enable sewer utility workers to inspect a vault near the roadway. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Overnight drivers who take the Northeast 8th Street exit from northbound Interstate 405 in Bellevue should plan alternate routes from Wednesday, Jan. 31 to Thursday, Feb. 1, while King County's utility workers conduct critical sewer pipeline and vault inspections near the roadway.
The exits to both the eastbound and westbound directions of Northeast 8th Street will be closed between the hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to enable crews to complete the work quickly and safely.
Emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the exit during the work hours.
Drivers needing to access Northeast 8th Street from northbound I-405 should plan to use alternate routes. One option for getting around the closure:
- Take the Northeast 4th Street exit from northbound I-405 and travel north on 116th Avenue Northeast to Northeast 8th Street.
