Wastemobile begins household hazardous waste collection season in Bothell, Feb. 22-24
Bothell, Kenmore, and Woodinville area residents can safely dispose of old car batteries, oil, paint thinner and many other household hazardous items at no cost when the Wastemobile kicks off its 2019 season in Bothell, Feb. 22-24.

Cleanup LIFT discount program connects more people to essential waste disposal services
King County’s new Cleanup LIFT discount enables low-income residents to save money at county-operated recycling and garbage transfer stations. Eligible King County residents who show their Provider One, EBT or ORCA LIFT card can receive $12 off the cost to dispose of recyclables, yard waste and garbage.

WaterWorks Grant Informational Workshops set for January 17, 30 and February 12
King County is hosting three free public workshops for prospective applicants to learn about the WaterWorks Grant Program, eligibility criteria and the application process. The workshops will take place in Kent on January 17, in Bellevue on January 30, and in Seattle on February 12.
