King County’s Cedar Falls recycling and solid waste disposal facility closed until June 19 for maintenance

Story

The King County Solid Waste Division’s Cedar Falls Drop Box will remain closed until June 19 while crews complete matintenance at the solid waste and recycling facility in North Bend. 

Theclosest  King County Solid Waste Division facility is the Factoria Recycling and Transfer Station, located at 13800 SE 32nd St., Bellevue. 

The Factoria station offers garbage, recycling and household hazardous waste disposal services, and is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

About the King County Solid Waste Division
The Solid Waste Division provides environmentally responsible solid waste transfer and disposal services in King County. The division operates eight transfer stations, two rural drop boxes, and the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill – the only operational landfill in the county. Our stakeholders include residents and business owners in unincorporated King County and 37 cities throughout the county. We work closely with our stakeholders to continue our national leadership in waste prevention, resource recovery, and waste disposal.
