King County Elections will perform logic and accuracy testing on ballot counting and processing equipment tomorrow, April 12, at 1 p.m. at the King County Elections office, 919 SW Grady Way in Renton.

Members of the media who plan to attend should contact Elections in advance of the testing to expedite the check-in process.

Logic and accuracy testing is a standard pre-election procedure. King County Elections does the testing to ensure that tabulation hardware and software functions properly and is accurately programmed for each election. Following the test, Elections will lock and seal all of the equipment for use in the April 26 Special Election.
