2016 UPDATE PROCESS AND TIMELINE

Below is a summary of the process and timeline for public review of the draft King County Comprehensive Plan update:

  • November 6: Release Public Review Draft
  • November - December:  Community Meetings and Outreach (see below)
  • December 1:  Transmit 2016 Docket Report to County Council
  • January 6: Public Comment Period closes
  • January - February: Refine Plan
  • March 1: Transmit Executive Recommended 2016 Comprehensive Plan to King County Council
  • March: King County Council review begins, adopted adoption anticipated in late 2016
