The Alaskan Way Viaduct will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, January 11th, and the new below-ground SR 99 tunnel is expected to open in early February. During this time-period, traffic is expected to worsen in and around the Seattle area. While we will do everything we can to maintain normal operations, it is possible that Environmental Health services - including plumbing and gas piping inspections, onsite inspections, and food inspections - may be delayed due to the congestion. Thank you in advance for your patience.
