rm_month_proclamationThe Records Management Program at King County is rolling out the red carpet for Records and Information Management Month! This year’s theme is Movies and Film. First proclaimed in 1995, the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) selected April for an annual month-long observance to promote good recordkeeping practices, provide awareness of the records management profession, and highlight the impact of proper records and information management on daily business. Think of it as clerical spring cleaning!

Official Proclamation. The King County Executive Dow Constantine proclaimed April as Records and Information Management Month, which will be observed by all King County employees. This is the County equivalent to an Academy Award!
