Bicyclist killed during race
(Southeast King County) an Oregon man was killed Saturday morning during a bicycle race near Flaming Geyser State Park. The man was southbound on 218 Ave SE when he hit a guardrail. He was transported to Harborview where he later died of his injuries. (C16015504)
Burglars arrested due to alert neighbor
(Covington) Three burglars were arrested today at a house in Covington after an alert neighbor saw them prowling around a neighbor’s house. Prior to police arriving the three men had broken through a glass door at the rear of the house and were inside. When police arrived one of the men was arrested as he was coming out the front door and the other two were found hiding inside. (C16014721)
Woman shoots boyfriend
(Burien) A 36 year old Burien woman shot her boyfriend tonight then ran to a neighbors house and asked them to call police. The boyfriend was taken by King County Medics to Harborview with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He is expected to survive.(Case#C16013942)
Father sentenced in death of 8 month old daughter
(South King County) A man was sentenced to 145 months in prison Friday for the death of his 8 month old daughter in 2014.(14-301655)
Hatchet wielding man shot and killed by citizen
(Seattle/Boulevard Park) A customer drinking coffee at a 7-11 this morning shot and killed a man who entered the store and attacked him and the clerk with a hatchet. (C16-013121)
Arson arrests made in Cascade Middle School fire
(Seattle) King County Sheriff’s Fire Investigators arrested two teens this morning for the arson that occurred last month at Cascade Middle School. The two boys, both 17 years old, were booked in the Youth Services Center for Investigation of Arson, Burglary and Vandalism. (C16008807)

Sketch on Lake Kathleen assault suspect
(Near Renton) King County Sheriff’s detectives have released a sketch of the suspect who assaulted a 16 year old girl at her home near Lake Kathleen on Tuesday. The suspect, who is unknown to the girl, stabbed her in the stomach with an “exacto” knife then fled the scene.

(Near Renton) A 16 year old girl called police yesterday after she said she was assaulted by a man as she was exiting a shop at her house. The girl said the suspect, who is not known to her, grabbed an “exacto” knife and stabbed her in the stomach.
Fatal accident near Kent
(Near Kent) One man is dead and another man injured after two cars collided on S277th St just west of West Valley Hwy. A witness told police that a van heading eastbound crossed the center lane and struck another car headed westbound.
