Update on Skyway double homicide
Detectives are seeking a third man present during the Skyway homicide.


Detective involved in traffic stop video identified
A King County Sheriff’s Detective who is being investigated after a video surfaced of him pointing a gun at a motorist on a traffic stop has been identified as Richard Rowe, 53. Rowe, who is currently assigned to the Woodinville Police Department as a detective, has been with the Sheriff’s Office for almost 19 years. (The City of Woodinville contracts with the King County Sheriff’s Office for police services.)


Man shot after pointing rifle at deputies
A man was shot and wounded by a King County Sheriff’s deputy this morning after the man pointed a rifle at deputies who had responded to his house for a domestic violence dispute.(C17042770)


Skyway double homicide
(Skyway / Unincorporated King County) On August 18th, 2017, King County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Skyway Park Bowl after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found 2 males with multiple gunshot wounds. One of the males was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported by Medics to Harborview Hospital but later died of his injuries. Detectives are still investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.


Injured hiker hoisted to safety
(Gold Lake) King County Guardian 2 hoisted an injured hiker to safety today after he was injured Wednesday afternoon from a fall near Gold Lake, north of Snoqualmie Pass.

Fire Investigators believe the fire that killed a 41 year old man near Auburn yesterday was started by a Molotov cocktail he had thrown at police. (C170737942)
