For those who need to rent a (12) passenger van, please email Motorpool.Dispatch@kingcounty.gov to book your next trip. Please note, these vehicles are now staged at the Renton ER&R site for pick up and drop off. If you are looking to gain access to our REMOTE vehicles, please email the motor pool dispatch email with your Supervisor cc'd as their approval is required. Once received we will send you all info needed and give you access in Invers.
Customers can cancel and change reservations an hour prior to the reservation "start" time. If you need to change or cancel a reservation that has started, please call DES Fleet Services at (206) 477-3880 during normal business hours (7am -5pm).
Goat Hill parking garage (entrance on Jefferson Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues; street address is 415 Sixth Ave.) After hours vehicle return, use main entrance off of Jefferson, pull up to gate and door will open. Key Manager box is located on the 8th floor.
King Street Center parking garage (entrance on South King Street; street address is 201 S. Jackson.) After hours vehicle return use parking transponder on scanner that is mounted on the building next to roll up gate. Key Manager box is located near the Valet waiting area, on Level A.
Fleet Services is installing Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment, also known as Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), in all dispatch rental vehicles starting in September 2018.
When the AVL device is installed in a vehicle, there will be a small sticker on the driver’s side window which reads “GPS Equipped.”
