Proposed changes to Local Court Rules

In accordance with GR 7, King County District Court is making available for public review and comment, proposed changes to the following Local Court Rule:

• LCrRLJ 3.4, Presence of the Defendant
  • Proposed changes are highlighted in yellow

30-day comment period: October 24, 2023, through November 27, 2023

The deadline to submit comments on the above proposed changes to Local Court Rules is Monday, November 27, 2023, 5:00 p.m.

During the 30-day comment period, the Court at the start of each business week will post on this page any comments received to date.

Submit comments

• All comments on proposed changes to Local Court Rules must be submitted in writing
• email your comments by the comment deadline to Patrick Wells, Court Operations Director, at patrick.wells@kingcounty.gov
