The Manual of Best Management Practices for Maintenance of Agricultural Waterways in King County shares ways to remove sediment from agricultural drainageways while protecting salmon and water quality. King County published the manual in April, 2012.

Farmers, regulators, tribes, King Conservation District and other partners wrote this manual with King County. Our goal is to protect water quality and fish habitat while streamlining regulatory requirements, reducing costs, and improving drainage for farming. The manual is one part of that approach.
