Affordable Housing Committee

About the Committee

The Affordable Housing Committee is part of the Growth Management Planning Council (GMPC). It serves as a regional advisory body with the following goals:

  • Assess the progress of the Regional Affordable Housing Task Force's 5-year action plan (12.2MB).
  • Recommend amendments to countywide planning and land use policies.
  • Coordinate accountability for countywide affordable housing efforts.

The Regional Affordable Housing Task Force released its 5-year action plan in 2018. The goal is to cut costs for households earning 80% or below the area median income.
