This fall, bike or scoot your way to transit in Seattle and earn rewards along the way! Rent a Lime bike or scooter, ride to a transit hub, park in select spots and earn rewards. Yes, it’s that easy!
Promotion period: September 15 to December 15, 2024, or while supplies last.
How to earn rewards
- Download Lime on your mobile device and create an account.
- Register for Transit GO Rewards and link your Lime account (earn 300 points).
- Ride Lime to an eligible Link light rail station and end your trip in a preferred parking spot and you will automatically earn 300 points. These points can be redeemed within 24 hours for future transit fares! Click on the green drop pins in the map below for location help.
- Answer surveys.
Redeem your points for future tickets on public transit or other rewards!
About this program
The Bike & Scoot to Transit pilot program is a collaboration between King County Metro, the Seattle Department of Transportation, Sound Transit, Lime, Velocia (developers of Metro's Transit GO Ticket app and Transit GO Rewards) and Siemens. The data from this program will be used to research first and last-mile connections to public transit. Funding for mobile transit tickets and rewards points is provided by SDOT and King County Metro.

Yes, the Transit GO ticket app and registration for GO Rewards is needed to access free transit tickets and earn additional points through surveys.
Take qualifying Lime trips to eligible Link light rail stations. You'll receive a push notification or email from Lime when you complete your trip if it is eligible to earn rewards points.
All bikes and scooters should be parked at signed/designated parking spots near eligible transit stations. Look for designated parking signage and make sure you are within the area designated listed in your bike/scooter app. Scooters and bikes parked outside of these preferred parking spots* will not qualify for the promotion/rewards.
*preferred parking zone - Lime uses geofencing to create areas where iders are encouraged to park, illustrated in the app with a blue “ P ”. Preferred Parking Zones are often combined with No Parking Zones to encourage responsible parking in particularly sensitive areas.
