Starting March 18, King County Metro will have new schedules to serve riders better. We’re adding service to Route 120 and upgrading it to become the RapidRide H Line. The City of Seattle is funding more trips on 18 routes, and schedules were fine-tuned across dozens of routes to improve reliability and travel times. Metro will operate more than 11,000 weekday trips across King County.

Service Improvements
The City of Seattle is making service investments to improve frequency on routes 3 & 4. On weekdays, two eastbound and one westbound trip will be added, on Saturday, two eastbound and two westbound trips will be added, and on Sunday one eastbound and two westbound trips will be added.

Due to SDOT’s Pike Pine Streetscape & Bicycle Improvements Project, the Route 11 eastbound pathway will change in downtown Seattle, and Route 11 will no longer operate on Pine St between 8th and Bellevue avenues or serve stop 1000. It will instead operate eastbound on Pike St, serving stops 1195 and 11132.

Route adjustments
The Houghton P&R will permanently close on March 18 and Route 245 will no longer serve stop 72314 inside the park–and–ride or operate on 116th Ave NE. Route 245 will operate on NE 70th Pl and serve a new westbound stop on NE 70th Pl just west of 116th Ave NE, stop #72311.

One eastbound trip will be added at approximately 7:13 PM to accommodate customers using Shoreline Community College services ending at 7:00 PM .

Service Replacement
New RapidRide H Line will launch, replacing Route 120 to provide frequent service between Burien Transit Center and downtown Seattle, including service to White Center and Delridge. RapidRide H Line will bring additional weekday and weekend service and operate trips every 7 to 15 minutes on weekdays from 4:00 AM to Midnight and trips every 15 minutes on weekends from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Metro Transit
Metro will operate a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29; Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4; Labor Day, Monday, September 4

Sound Transit
Sound Transit bus routes 522, 541, 542, 544, 545, 550, 554, 555, 556 and 566 operated by Metro, will operate a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29; Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4; Labor Day, Monday, September 4.
The 1 Line (Link) will also operate a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Sounder commuter rail will not operate on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
