Most King County government offices will observe Labor Day on the first Monday in September and will be closed. Offices will be back on a normal schedule the following Tuesday.

• Check the Metro website for holiday schedule changes.
• The King County Water Taxi route between West Seattle and downtown will be on a Sunday schedule. The route between West Seattle and Vashon will not sail.
• Garbage collection operates on a normal pick-up schedule; transfer stations will be open. Call your garbage collection service provider for recycling pick-up information.
