On July 24, 2020 the King County Council adopted the 2020 update to the 2016 King County Comprehensive Plan (Ordinance 19146). The 2016 Comprehensive Plan was first adopted on December 5, 2016, via Ordinance 18427. The Plan was amended in 2017 via Ordinance 18623, to reflect the adoption of the Vashon-Maury Island CSA Subarea Plan, with a few other minor technical changes. The plan was amended in 2018 via Ordinance 18810, to update the comprehensive planning and subarea planning structure, modify the Workplan, and make other technical changes. In 2020, the 2016 Plan was amended by two updates: the periodic update to the Shoreline Master Program (Ordinance 19034) and the 2020 update, that adopted the Midpoint Update and the Skyway-West Hill Land Use Strategy.  The following documents are the final versions of the adopted plans, as amended by the Council.
