Courthouse Security
Presiding Judge Laura Inveen and Assistant Presiding Judge Jim Rogers, the Prosecuting Attorneys Office, the Sheriff’s Department, Metro Police, and King County Facilities management Division appeared before the King County Councilmembers Pete Von Reichbauer and Dave Upthegrove Tuesday, Aug. 28 for an update on Seattle Courthouse Safety. This group has been meeting regularly since June 2017 to address safety and cleanliness issues.

Commercially-sexually-exploited-children
More than 60 percent of the men who buy sex from children are white men. More than 50 percent of the victims are people of color. King County's Commercially Sexually Exploited Children program works to support children and families as they escape the situation and focus law enforcement on the men who commit the crime.
