We will have Vote Centers open for those who need assistance or have missed the deadlines but ask that those who are able to utilize the online tools do so. Those who do come to a Vote Center in person will be required to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth.

Frequently asked questions
State law mandates that a recall election be held within 45-90 days of certification of the petition. The petition was submitted in early September and certified on September 30, 2021, putting the February Special election outside the 90-day window.
Successful recalls prompt an appointment process by the jurisdiction and the appointed person would serve until the 2022 General Election.
Under Washington State law, the ballot for a recall election must feature both the allegations against the official up for recall and the official's response to them.
The Prosecuting Attorney's Office drafts the ballot synopsis and its then approved by the Superior Court. The response is drafted and submitted by the official facing recall.
