What's on your permit and decal

The for-hire permit will show your same name as your driver's license, your for-hire identification number, your vehicle endorsement number, and an expiration date.

TNC drivers will get a decal (sticker) for your vehicle after it has been inspected and approved.

Where to put your permit and decal

Photocopy your permit, making it larger (at least 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"), and laminate it (cover it in plastic).

Display option 1: Hang it behind the front seat headrest

Display option 2: Stick it on the dashboard

Stick the decal to the inside of your windshield near the rearview mirror. The decal must be clear from outside.
