Our region is experiencing flooding and landslides due to an "atmospheric river". The King County Flood Warning Center is monitoring conditions on 6 major rivers and Issaquah Creek. The King County Emergency Operations Center is at full activation. Emergency News has information and tips about flooding, landslides, power outages, downed trees, and road closures.

Rhonda Lewis selected as interim District 2 Councilmember

King County Council unanimously selected Rhonda Lewis for an interim appointment to District 2. She becomes the first Black woman ever to serve on the Council, and creates the first majority of women in the Council’s history.
