Crews will be working on the Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) on Runway 14R this week. The runway will be closed for two short periods of time on November 20 and 21 to accommodate this work.

Crews and equipment will be in the safety area of Runway 14R/32L installing baffling kits on the Runway 14R Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) on Wednesday, November 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. local Pacific time. Runway 14R/32L will still be open for all aircraft traffic between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., and 3 to 4 p.m. local time.
Runway 14R/32L will be closed to all traffic from 2 to 3 p.m. local time on November 20 for a verification check of the 14R PAPI.
On Thursday, November 21, FAA Flight Check will be conducting mandatory service flight of Runway 14R/32L from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. local Pacific time. The runway will be closed to all aircraft traffic during this time.
