Going Where Needs are Greatest

This map shows "opportunity areas" that meet certain income, health and open space access criteria established in King County Code. Other parts of the county may also be determined to be "opportunity areas," if communities experience demonstrated hardships and lack of open space access.

Land conservation opportunity areas map, showing locations where households lack open space access and simultaneously fall in the bottom third of census tracts for household income and top third of zip codes for hospitalization rates due to asthma, diabetes and heart disease.
