ArcGIS Online is a web mapping platform for everyone. Using nothing more than Internet access and a standard web browser, ArcGIS Online users can take advantage of ready-to-use online geospatial data and map resources to create interactive web maps and web-map applications. Teachers are in a prime position to both incorporate this capability into their classroom presentations and help their students learn how to use the technology themselves. This workshop is a special edition, designed for the teaching community, of Putting ArcGIS Online to Work in King County.
Educators who want to learn how to create interactive web maps, share geographic data and maps in compelling classroom lessons, and teach their students how to use web maps in their own school projects.
Prerequisites and Recommendations
Basic web-browser navigation skills.
