Laboratory Waste Management Guide (December 2015) (1.1MB) prepared by the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County, Washington.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards (NPG) is a source of general industrial hygiene information on several hundred chemicals/classes for workers, employers, and occupational health professionals. The NPG does not contain an analysis of all pertinent data, rather it presents key information and data in abbreviated or tabular form for chemicals or substance groupings (e.g. cyanides, fluorides, manganese compounds) that are found in the work environment. The information found in the NPG should help users recognize and control occupational chemical hazards.

King County’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Manual provides best management practices (BMP's) for managing stormwater on commercial, multi-family and residential properties. The manual provides detailed information for businesses, residents, managers, and owners of property in unincorporated King County, and describes the actions we are all required to take to reduce the contamination of stormwater, surface water, and groundwater, to comply with Federal Clean Water Act requirements.
