Nightly closures of Runway 14R/32L this summer

UPDATE September 2, 2025: Work on Runway 14R/32L, including overnight closures of the runway, will continue through October. Please check NOTAMs for the latest information.

More work is planned this summer on and near Runway 14R/32L (also known as the large runway) at King County International Airport-Boeing Field.

The runway will be closed overnight on the following dates from 10 p.m. to 3:45 a.m. local Pacific time:

• June 16
• June 18
• June 20
• June 24

No PPRs will be granted during closure hours.

The runway will remain open overnight on the following dates:

• June 15
• June 17
• June 19
• June 21
• June 23
• June 25

Starting June 26 through October, Runway 14R/32L will be closed according to the following weekly schedule (all times are local Pacific time):

• Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: 9 p.m. to 3:45 a.m.
• Thursdays: 8:15 p.m. to 3:45 a.m.
• Fridays: 8 p.m. to 5:15 a.m.
• Saturdays: 9:15 pm. to 3:30 a.m.
• Sundays: 8:15 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

NOTAMs will be posted.

Please also note that that the small runway (14L/32R) remains closed 24 hours a day through late October.
