The Sheriff’s Office holds Candidate Engagement Sessions hosted by the Basic Training Unit about the hiring process, deputy position and what to expect. You will have to have taken the PST tests and scores sent to the King County Sheriff's Office to attend. Once your scores are sent to us, you will be emailed an invite, after screening.
