About

The Skykomish Service Area comprises the 271 square miles of the Skykomish River watershed within King County. Land use throughout this service area is largely forestry and much of the land is in public ownership. Permittees with impacts to wetlands, streams, and buffers may be able to the King County In-Lieu Fee Program to offset unavoidable impacts within the Skykomish River Service Area.
