Juvenile Justice Assessment Team (JJAT)

A team devoted to working with youth in the court system to assess how we can best help with their mental health or substance abuse needs.

Court-involved youth may need help with mental health, substance abuse, or psychological evaluations. The Juvenile Justice Assessment Team (JJAT) provides these services. Our goal is to develop and guide youth through a therapeutic treatment plan.

We partner with Ryther and Seneca Family of Agencies. They provide the professional staff working with the youth to find their service needs.

We meet with court-involved youth in our office, in the community, or in detention. The visits happen as many times as necessary to get a full picture of the youths’ current needs. We then provide advice and connect them with services in their community.

Juvenile Probation Counselors, Truancy/ARY Case Managers, attorneys, and other court staff may refer youth to this program.
