Populations we serve
Services administered by ASD and our funded partners are available for:
Veterans, Servicemembers and their Families
Any person who has served at least one day in the military, regardless of discharge typeLearn more

Any older adult age 55 and older or an older adult’s caregiver
Communities that, despite enduring trauma and harm from systemic oppression and discrimination, still thrive
We seek to support community-led and community-informed organizations that are reflective of and embedded in the communities they serve across all aspects of their leadership and service.
ASD supports organizations that recognize and address the disparities that exist in our communities.
ASD manages and provides equity-focused stewardship of revenue from:
- King County Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy
- RCW 73.08 veterans relief fund
- King County general funds
ASD also supports the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy Advisory Board, Veterans Advisory Board and Women’s Advisory Board.
