Trips must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance through the Vashon Community Transportation Coordinator. The coordinator will contact you with approval and instructions. Trips must have at least two passengers in addition to the volunteer driver. If you don’t have a volunteer driver, the coordinator will help you recruit one.

If the van is taken off island, riders are responsible for paying their own ferry fees as well as the Driver and Vehicle Fares. Driver and Vehicle fares can be comped and priority ferry loading can be obtained, but this must be scheduled in advance (see coordinator for instructions).

There are two types of van available: the 10-passenger van and the wheelchair/ramp van, which fits either four passengers or one wheelchair with two passengers.
