Join General Manager Terry White and Metro's Safety team on Saturday, September 10, to recognize the skills of our bus operators.

There are three ways to participate:

  1. Both bus operators and non-operators can sign up now to compete in the Metroadeo.
  2. Employees can bring their antique, classic or special interest cars, trucks, motorcycles or any other vehicle to the 32nd Annual Employee Car Show.
  3. Save the date to attend the event with your family.

Metroadeo

An opportunity for operators (and non-operators) to showcase their driving skills! Competitors will be judged on the safety and quality of their driving.

The first-place winner will have the opportunity to represent MTD at the 2023 State Roadeo. Second and third place will also be awarded. All participants will receive a special edition 2022 Metroroadeo hat. Sign up now to show off your skills to fellow Metro employees and their families!

The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, at the "retired" Safety and Training Center — located at 11911 East Marginal Way South. There will also be food trucks onsite to provide free lunch to all attendees.

Car Show

All King County Employees, their families and friends are invited to show off their antique, classic or special interest cars, trucks, motorcycles or any other vehicle at the 32nd Annual King County Employees Car Show sponsored by the Metro Employees Historic Vehicle Association (MEHVA).

Great prizes and giveaways will be awarded. Registration is free.
