Collection notice - Family Court Services

Learn how to respond to a collection notice from the Superior Court Family Court Services (FCS).

If you can scan your documents

Scan and email the following to fcs@kingcounty.gov:

  • A copy of your collections letter
  • One of the invoices
  • Any questions or additional information you would like us to know

If you cannot scan in your documents

Email us at fcs@kingcounty.gov and include:

  • Your Full Name as listed on the notice
  • Court Case# and/or FCS # (if you have it)
  • Current mailing address (if your letter was forwarded to you)
  • Your account number as listed on your King County Invoice
  • Total Past Due (on the collections letter)
  • Any questions or additional information, you would like us to know

If you do not have email access

Call us during business hours, 8:30 am to noon and 1 to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Do not leave a voicemail as we will not respond to it.
