Council Budget Committee to hold four special meetings on 2014 King County Budget

Councilmember Joe McDermott, Chair of the Metropolitan King County Council’s Budget Leadership Team, today announced that the Council’s Budget Committee will host four evening meetings to hear from the public on the County Executive’s proposed 2014 King County Budget.

Hosted by Councilmember McDermott, who will be joined on the 2014 Budget Leadership Team by Councilmembers Kathy Lambert, Jane Hague and Larry Phillips, the public hearings will be held:

• Tuesday, October 1- Bellevue City Hall, City Council Chambers , 450 110th Avenue NE, Bellevue
• Tuesday, October 8 - Maleng Regional Justice Center, Courtroom 3F, 401 4th Avenue North, Kent
• Wednesday, October 16 - Si View Community Center, 400 SE Orchard Drive, North Bend
• Tuesday, October 22- King County Courthouse, County Council Chambers, 10th Flr, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle
