King County Interagency Coordinating Council

What is the KCICC?

The King County Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) system is part of a statewide system of Early Support services directed by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). Four counties have a County Lead Agency (CLA) responsible for coordinating its ESIT system and each CLA has an Interagency Coordinating Council.

In King County, the CLA is the Developmental Disabilities and Early Childhood Supports Division (DDECSD) and the advisory board for ESIT services is the KCICC. The KCICC advises and assists DDECSD with planning and coordinating services at the community level.

Join the KCICC

The KCICC has up to 25 voting members and invites all community members to participate in any of the meetings. Voting members include families, ESIT Providers, and community representatives (early learning and public education, health and mental health, private Early Support Providers, higher education, government, and community-based infant, toddler, or family programs.)

We always encourage parents and other family members to apply!

KCICC Mission

The mission of the KCICC is to create collaborations that work towards providing comprehensive, culturally competent, family centered, and community-based services for all children birth to three years of age with developmental delays/disabilities and their families in King County.
