The King County Council voted unanimously today to confirm Davis, who was appointed to the position earlier this year. She will oversee the division – part of King County Local Services – that maintains 2,967 lane miles of roads, 182 bridges and other critical infrastructure in the unincorporated areas.
“Tricia is a proven leader and has a well-earned reputation of leading with King County values and a commitment to racial justice. She is a problem solver, an innovative and strategic thinker, and is the perfect fit to help the Road Services Division confront its historic funding challenges and move into a new era of financial stability,” Local Services Director John Taylor said when he appointed her this year.
“I am excited to join the hardworking team at Road Services and the Department of Local Services to continue to deliver excellent service to the residents of unincorporated King County,” Davis said. “I also look forward to taking on the challenge of securing sustainable funding for our vital road and bridge network so that we can continue in making King County a welcoming community where every person can thrive.”
