NAME: Renita Borders

CURRENT CITY: South Seattle
HOMETOWN: Waco, Tex.
KING COUNTY AGENCY: Hearing Examiner and Ombudsman Office
MILITARY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: Renita experienced multiple deployments including Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Thailand, and humanitarian efforts in the Philippines during the Mt. Pinatubo disaster. She was the primary liaison for correction, submission, and maintenance of written correspondence and command documents.

KING COUNTY AGENCY: King County Veterans Program
MILITARY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: Gary's military experience includes deployments to Kuwait, Albania, Macedonia, and Kosovo. He has also spent time at Camp Casey, South Korea; Fort Carson, Colo.; and Baumholder, Germany. Gary served as an Infantry Fire Team Leader in the Ranger Regiment leading soldiers under fast-paced and close-combat situations. The Ranger Regiment is the world's premier light infantry fighting force, specializing in raids and assault missions.

MILITARY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: Jerry's military career includes mechanical and flight engineer experience on a Chinook helicopter with a 2009 deployment to Iraq performing supply, mail, and personnel transportation missions.

MILITARY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: During his time in the military, Michael performed variety of duties including administration of monthly career development boards, active career development for veterans, and case management of careers.

NAME: Jonathon Peters
BRANCH: Information Systems Technician 2nd Class, U.S. Coast Guard
CURRENT CITY: Capitol Hill, Seattle
HOMETOWN: Salt Lake City, Utah
KING COUNTY AGENCY: Department of Natural Resources and Parks
MILITARY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: Jonathon served as an Information Systems Technician 2nd Class in the Coast Guard, conducting patrols and providing telecommunication and network systems support. Further responsibilities included installation and maintenance of telecommunications, radio equipment, and network workstations for assigned areas.
